Trekking is not limited to the mountains . The Sahara treks offer a unique experience and to see the night sky in the desert is truly amazing. If trekking is not on your thing the ancient cities and historical sites are an impressive alternative. Moroccan culture is steeped in ancient traditions and there is no better place to witness than the medinas and souks of the old cities. The Moroccan people are warm and welcoming , the indigenous inhabitants, the Berbers, have left an indelible mark on this fascinating country. They love to share their culture with visitors and although you arrive as a stranger you will surely leave as family.

Thankyou so much to Rachid, Penny and all “the team” for a wonderful insight into your beautiful country and the Berber way of life. The treks we did were exhilarating and Rachid has such a wealth of local knowledge…and a great sense of fun as well! The food was fabulous, and I always felt well looked after with all accommodation and transport being taken care of. We were certainly pampered!! (Where is my mule?) Time spent in Marrakech, Fez and Essouiera was unforgettable too, staying in gorgeous Riads and shopping in the medinas. Loved every part of my 3-week trip.
